Paragon ID partners with NXP at CES18.

Everyone has been talking about CES18 this week. Held in Las Vegas, the consumer technologies show was expecting 200,000 visitors. With 4,000 exhibitors from 150 countries, CES is definitely the world’s gathering place for all those who thrive on the business of consumer technologies.

Smart Stadium experience from NXP

Paragon ID was present on the NXP stand promoting the benefits of NFC.

Visitors to the NXP stand could enjoy a “Smart Stadium” experience and discover how it is possible to enjoy a game even more thanks to NFC.
By scanning the visitors’ CES badges, a NFC pass/ticket was generated containing their personal data. The NFC pass was then allowing them to enjoy the full experience from door opening and personalised message on a screen to special offers, purchase of refreshment and keepsakes, and a photo souvenir.

To make the attraction possible, Paragon ID supplied the NFC tickets along with one of our S-PRINTBOX printers for on-site encoding.

Here are a few photos including one of Bertrand Brault, our Marketing and Business Development Director testing out the Smart Stadium experience.

Paragon ID at CESThe show wouldn’t have been complete without Dropmix

One of the main attractions of CES18 was, the DROPMIX live demo – also on NXP’s stand – and featuring a DJ mixing music using the games’ NFC enabled cards.

For the occasion, Paragon contributed to a collector card, in partnership with NXP and of course Hasbro and Harmonix, the creators of the game.
